Silk joins Exchange Chambers

EXCHANGE Chambers has welcomed its first Silk in Leeds with the arrival of Christopher Tehrani QC.

Tehrani is a specialist criminal, judicial review and regulatory barrister. He was called to the Bar in 1990 and took Silk earlier this year. He joins Exchange Chambers from New Park Court Chambers in Leeds and Newcastle.

He said: “Exchange Chambers has established itself as a forward thinking dynamic set. At a time of uncertainty for the Criminal Bar, it is leading the way. I am extremely grateful to Robert Smith QC and all of my friends at New Park Court Chambers for their unqualified support over many years. I will miss them and wish them continued success.”

Tom Handley, director of Chambers at Exchange Chambers, said: “To welcome our first Silk in Leeds is a landmark for Chambers. Chris is an outstanding practitioner who will be a real asset to our criminal and regulatory teams.”
