Ilkley office for Ison Harrison
LAW firm Ison Harrison is to open its fifth office in the region with a new practice in Ilkley.
The new office will be led by residential and conveyancing lawyer Nigel Cowley and will initially have a staff of eight.
Jonathan Wearing, managing partner at Ison Harrison, said: “This is a very exciting expansion for the firm. We act for a broader base of clients than any other firm in Leeds, including criminal and family clients eligible for legal aid, for commercial clients who need corporate advice and support, and for private individuals who are moving home or are planning for the future. We will, I believe, bring a breadth of legal expertise to the town and surrounding areas that is currently missing.

The new office will employ six specialist lawyers including Andrea Essen, a family specialist joining Stowe Family Law, Christina Morley, former senior partner of Morley Mitchell Solicitors and Helen Shires, former head of personal injury litigation at Nelson & Co.
Ison Harrison employs more than 150 staff across offices in West Yorkshire.
