New law firm launches
A NEW law firm has launched in York.
Paradigm Family Law is a new niche practice specialising in family law advice run by matrimonial experts James Thornton and Frank Arndt.
The two founders have more than 30 years experience in their field, and provide specialist legal advice for family matters including international/cross border family disputes.
Managing partner James Thornton says: “At Paradigm Family Law we put the client at the heart of everything we do. From day one, our clients know how much the full case will cost them from beginning to end, from first meeting to final resolution even if there are court proceedings.
“Clients are sometimes hesitant to ring their solicitor because they don’t want to escalate their costs. Our clients can contact us as often as they like without it increasing the fees they pay for our advice.”
Managing partner Frank Arndt added: “This transparency helps our client to budget during a usually stressful time. No alarms, no surprises. In other jurisdictions the fixed fee arrangements are already well established. Clients are becoming more and more aware of the value they want for their money. We believe that in time, the hourly rate models will be history.
“Law firms have to adopt very quickly and keep up consumer expectations and demands and City firms are already offering more fixed fee arrangements. We felt the time was right to offer the same to our customers worldwide.”
