Morrisons employee charged

A MORRISONS employee has been charged with fraud.

According to reports, the employee was charged yesterday following an investigation into data theft at the Bradford-headquartered supermarket chain earlier this year.

Andrew Skelton is alleged to have distributed sensitive information without permission.

In March this year, the company released a statement saying that the details of about 100,000 employees had been stolen.

Mr Skelton is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on 2 December.
