DONCASTER family-run bakery, The Topping Pie Company, has secured a deal with Booths to supply an extended range of festive premium pies.
The Yorkshire pie maker will supply products for the store’s Christmas catalogue, deli counters, own-label and a new boxed range.
Matthew Topping, sales director at The Topping Pie Company, said: “We are delighted to extend our product offer with Booths over the Christmas period. The introduction of our new seasonal boxed range will give customers the choice of buying our pies off the shelf or from the deli counter.”

YORKSHIRE Coast College has seen apprenticeship numbers soar within the past 12 months.
The Scarborough-based college recently reported a 20% increase in apprenticeships from 267 last year to 320 this year. Areas that have experienced apprenticeship growth within the college include construction, engineering, motor vehicle, accountancy and business administration.
Yorkshire Coast College principal Clare Wareing said: “We are absolutely delighted to report an increase in apprenticeships this year. Apprenticeships are a fantastic route into employment and we work with a whole host of local employers to ensure our apprenticeships equip students with all the skills and expertise they will need for a successful career.
“We’re also very proud to announce that 100% of our Advanced Engineering and Motor Vehicle apprentices successfully completed their qualification, well above the national average of 59.2% for Engineering and 64.4% for Motor Vehicle.”
