Yorkshire unveils plans for one of the largest indoor showrooms in the country

A MANUFACTURER of glass and aluminium products is planning to open one of the UK’s largest indoor showrooms next year as it announces the acquisition of a fellow Yorkshire business.

With capital investment in excess of £1m, Express Bi-folding Doors, has signed an agreement with the 55,000 sq ft building next door. It will be more than doubling its existing showroom and manufacturing space in Morley, Leeds, making it the largest of its kind in the UK at over 130,000 sq ft.

Express Bi-folding Doors has recently purchased Yorkshire-based 3D Kitchens. Due to trade as Express in the Home, the Leeds showroom will now house a selection of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom displays, complementing its existing portfolio of aluminium and glass products.

We’ve come a long way in the eight years we’ve been in operation and, as the popularity and reputation or our products continues to boom, we are constantly re-visiting our plans to ensure we can continue offer a superior, fast and cost effective service to our customers.

“If growth of Express in the Home is similar to Express Bi-folding Doors, we plan to roll it out nationally across our Glasgow and London showrooms in 2016, as well as in future showrooms.”
