Appointments: Ultimate Finance; BDO; 3volution

ULTIMATE FINANCE GROUP, which provides cashflow solutions to SMEs, has recruited two members to its Leeds team following the opening of its office in the city centre at the end of December.

Noel Haverly joins as a regional director with Michelle Hoole taking on the role of client manager. Both are joining the group having spent more than eight years at Aldermore Bank.

ACCOUNTANCY and business advisory firm BDO has appointed Mark Langford as a partner in its audit team as part of its continued investment in the growth of the Yorkshire practice.
 
The appointment follows the promotion of 19 people across BDO’s Yorkshire offices and a 27% increase in revenues for the firm.
 
Mark joins BDO following several years working in industry. Previously a client of BDO’s as head of audit at VION UK, a Dutch owned food group with £2bn revenues, Mark joins from AIM-listed Quindell where he was head of financial projects and delivered interim CFO duties.

LEEDS boutique law firm 3volution has appointed two new partners, Sara Ludlam and Matthew Pugh.
 
Intellectual property (IP) law specialist Sara Ludlam has 17 years contractual and litigious IP experience. She trained in London in a niche litigation and IP practice and has since worked for a number of leading law firms and in senior positions in industry.
 
Matthew Pugh will lead 3volution’s new specialist property litigation team, providing commercial, residential and agricultural property advice both strategically and in response to disputes.
 
3volution’s founding partner Louise Handley said: “Appointing Sara and Matthew as partners is a significant step forward for 3volution.
