All change for unusual office location

CHARTERED surveyors Eddisons are offering firms an unusual platform for their business.

The Huddersfield office of chartered surveyors Eddisons is looking for occupiers for Station Buildings at St George’s Square, which form part of the town’s historic railway station.

The office space became available following the relocation of breakdown recovery company Britannia Rescue to Folly Hall Mills earlier this year.

Jonathan O’Connor, of Eddisons, said: “Office space in a landmark building like this rarely comes to market. It should appeal to a range of commercial or professional services businesses looking for accommodation in a key location.

“It is in the heart of the town and with the station on your door step –  the daily commute could not get any easier.”

The premises comprise part of the ground and first floor offices within the main railway station building.

Each floor of the 6,685 sq ft property is equipped with general and private offices, toilet and canteen.

The premises are currently held by way of an FRI lease until January 2015 with a passing rent of £53,000 a year.

They are available through assignment or sub-lease for either a single floor or the whole area.
