PROPERTY development opportunities are being showcased in Leeds that stretch from business to culture and leisure

South Bank Central, home to ASDA’s UK headquarters, Holbeck Urban Village, a centre for creative and digital industries, the former Tetley Brewery and Leeds Dock are all being promoted.

South Bank Central has been chosen as the site for the new HS2 station, and will be connected to the new section of the Leeds railway station, set to be “one of the busiest interchanges in the country.”

This could support an estimated 3,300,000 sq ft of commercial space, in which firms could create up to 20,000 job.

Agents for the scheme, GVA said: “Whilst development has been sporadic throughout the SOuth Bank to date it is hoped the location of a new HS2 station in addition to the new southern entrance to Leeds railway station will propel the regeneration of adjacent areas into dynamic locations, able to attract and sustain major investment.”
