£150m recycling plant in Leeds City Region set to attract investors

Leeds City Region is presenting investors from across the world at MIPIM 2015 with its Big Six development opportunities, each with more than £80m worth of investment potential. Together they form the centerpiece of the city region’s £2.5bn development pipeline. Read more here.

FOUR major Leeds developments are being showcased at MIPIM 2015.

The £150m recycling and energy recovery facility currently under construction by Veolia, due for completion in 2016 which could generate enough electricity to power 20,000 homes is among the developments being promoted.

A £7.5m investment has seen infrastructure and groundwork begin at Thornes Farm, and this coupled with developments at  Logic Leeds and Temple Green could collectively provide over 5m sq ft of employment space in the region are all being promoted.

The Leeds City Enterprise Zone has overall responsibility for delivering projects like these with a team of landowners and developers including Muse Developments, Evans, KeyLand and Wilton Developments.
