Creative: Propaganda, Turn Key, Cutting Technologies

BRAND consultancy Propaganda has been appointed by independent commercial gas provider CNG.

The firm has its eye on a 10% market share of UK SME commercial gas supply.
CNG, which has supplied gas to businesses for more than two decades, has seen exceptional growth over the past few years.

The business has a turnover approaching £200m and caters for a range of commercial gas customers, from factories and national restaurant chains to small family firms.

CNG managing director Jacqui Hall said: “We know that we have a great business and are doing many things in an industry-leading way, but this process will allow us to gather insights from a range of partners, and will help us shape the future of our business.

“We’re looking to further understand the intricacies of our market and leverage the right opportunities that will accelerate our growth.

“Our work to date has established us as the credible alternative to bigger commercial suppliers, with a first class customer service focus. Whilst cementing our reputation, we’re looking at ways to expand that ethos to more customers.”

Propaganda managing director Craig Harrold said: “Our work will look at ways to further elevate the brand, in an increasingly competitive marketplace and bring them recognition from a wider customer base.”

Cutting Technologies KentBarnsley-based Cutting Technologies worked alongside ARC Creative Design to make five sculptures as part of a project to remodel an old site in Peacehaven in East Sussex.

The Big Parks Project, by Lewes District Council, aims to create new outdoor recreation and leisure facilities on land which is part of the largest area of archaeological investigation in the South of England.

Tom Cann, of ARC Creative Design in Folkstone, Kent, said: “We started to send the artwork far and wide to find a company that could handle the level of detail required, whilst still being able to cut out of reasonably thick material. Many companies said they couldn’t do it, some said they could but only on thinner gauge stainless steel and others wanted the design simplified to suit their machine – and then there was Cutting Technologies.”

“We were so pleased to find Cutting Technologies because there was no issue with the artwork, we just sent the designs and four days later we were looking at the laser cut steel in our workshop.

Jane Robinson, director of Cutting Technologies, said: “A lot of our work is with artists and designers and being part of a creative process is something we really enjoy. We don’t believe artists should compromise on their designs so we were pleased to be able to laser cut exactly to their specifications with this project.”
