Interiors firms get creative with stately home move

THE Harewood Estate has let space at its business centre to two creative firms.

146 year-old firm Vale Bridgecraft manufactures sofas and non-upholstered suites and has taken 1,945 sq ft in addition to its Hebden Bridge base.

Brighouse-based Websters Interior Design took 1,561 sq ft at Harewood Yard. The Yard is owned by the Harewood Estate, which manages the grounds and historic buildings.

Patrick Cater, associate director in the office agency team at Savills, said: “Harewood Yard provides contemporary office accommodation in tranquil surroundings.

“Occupier interest has increased significantly since the introduction of the new biomass heating system, which provides an EPC rating of A, as well as the introduction of fibre optic broadband connectivity.”
