Appointments: Freeths, Counter Context

LAW firm Freeths has expanded its construction and property litigation teams, only months after Matthew Thompson, Dahren Naidoo and Liz Banks were hired in senior positions.

Joseph Hale joins the team as a construction partner with ten years under his belt at Addleshaw Goddard.

Philip Myers has been appointed as a director of the property litigation team after six years at Eversheds.

Freeths managing partner for Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, John May said: “We are delighted to announce the appointments of Joe and Philip; which clearly demonstrates how well the Yorkshire market has responded to our Freethinking approach to Legal services and its desire to appoint lawyers who provide answers not options.”

Freeths have recently been awarded star status by Best Companies for 2015 and is a Sunday Times 100 Best Company to Work For 2015. The Legal 500’s UK rankings also put Freeths as a regional leader in no less than 28 categories and 61 partners are recognized by Chambers UK as leaders in their field.
