GLOBAL healthcare device manufacturer Kaz Europe has appointed Brighouse-based The Lenny Agency to carry out a trade and consumer PR campaign for the launch of the latest Vicks Cough & Cold humidifier.
Lenny will be responsible for the UK launch, with the team implementing both offline and digital media relations. The agency has also been given the extra responsibility of being the central European agency, coordinating and managing all PR activity in France and Germany to ensure the launch is seamless across all three countries.
As well as carrying out a PR campaign, Lenny has also been commissioned to re-design and develop the Vicks Cough & Cold website for humidifiers, air treatment solutions and thermometers.
Emma Leonard, managing director at Lenny, said: “We’re thrilled to continue our working relationship with Kaz and excited to get the campaign underway for the launch of Vicks new humidifier. We continue to work closely with both the nursery and health sector, and have strong relationships with national and magazine media, which will help us gain some excellent coverage for Vicks. The new humidifier has some great features that will put it head and shoulders above other products on the market and we’re eager to see what the media think.”

AN advertising campaign devised by Yorkshire and Manchester-based creative marketing agency Tadah! Media on behalf of Bargain Booze is attracting praise from media industry experts.
The campaign, headlined “Aldi Shmaldi”, features a series of press and billboard ads designed to mimic Aldi by favourably comparing the prices of the supermarket’s brand alcoholic beverages with the major brands stocked by Bargain Booze.
Paul Renhard, the creative director behind the idea, said: “As with all
of the best advertising campaigns, it’s a very simple idea that aims to tap
into people’s awareness of Aldi’s current approach and I’m delighted that
it has been so well received.”
“We always try to get to the nub of the brief on behalf of our clients and
worked closely with Bargain Booze throughout. It’s great to know that this
appears to have hit the mark,” added Mr Renhard, who founded Tadah! Media, together with three other experienced directors, just over a year ago.
