Ex-DLA director launches law firm

A FORMER legal director at DLA Piper has launched a law firm in Leeds.
James Morris has set up MRC Legal in Leeds, a boutique law firm providing a full service offering to commercial and restructuring clients.
Mr Morris said: ”Clients have become increasingly more sophisticated in what they require from their lawyers in terms of expertise, accessibility and pricing.
“MRC Legal was established to provide an alternative to the traditional legal service providers with clients benefiting from the flexibility that an independent practice can offer.
“By focusing on commercial and practical solutions and working collaboratively with our clients, we seek to enable business and deliver positive outcomes to clients’ legal issues.”
Mr Morris has 15 years’ experience advising SME, PLC, insolvency practitioners and lender clients on restructuring, litigation and commercial matters including 12 months working in a clearing bank’s restructuring team.
