THE PR and social media offering at a Leeds-based agency has been boosted by a double hire.
Shackleton PR has recruited account manager Paul Rayment and social media community manager Josephine Keller.
Mr Rayment joins Shackleton from children’s game developer and youth research agency Dubit, where he held the position of PR and marketing manager, helping to raise awareness of the organisation both across the UK and America. At Dubit, he operated across a number of departments and worked with leading kids brands in the UK and US.
Ms Keller has arrived from Engage Mutual where she led the development and implementation of the social media strategy for the leading life insurance provider.
Client services director Kate Dixon said: “Paul’s experience with social media, coupled with traditional PR and a strong understanding of SEO makes him a valuable addition to the team. Likewise, Josephine will further enhance our offering, ensuring that social is an integral part of our campaigns.”

A TRIO of client wins have been won by a West Yorkshire PR and social media agency which launched four months ago.
Game PR has been appointed by polythene packaging manufacturer Duo UK, cleaning and facility service providers Floorbrite, and Harrogate-based handbag and leather care repair specialists The Handbag Spa.
Game PR will handle all trade and consumer PR for Duo UK and Floorbrite and all consumer PR for The Handbag Spa as well as working with all three brands to offer support in developing a social media presence.
Set up in February by Victoria Bartram, Game PR has already built a strong client portfolio including UK glamping favourite, Jollydays, and luxury woodland retreat North Star Club amongst others.
Ms Bartram said: “To have bolstered our client portfolio by three major client wins, all of which came in just one month, is a fantastic achievement and we’re thrilled to have been appointed by Duo UK, Floorbrite and The Handbag Spa.
“It’s an exciting time of expansion for the agency and working with nationally recognised brands in the first year of business supports our ambitious growth plans.”
