In Brief: Yorkshire firms join FTSE-250, Jet2’s New York boost, Getech sale completes
DONCASTER-based UK Coal is to drop from the FTSE-250 list of shares, the FTSE Group said.
Conveyor belt group Fenner, based in Hessle, near Hull, is also to lose its place.
Stockbroker Brewin Dolphin, which has offices in Bradford, Leeds and York, Hull-based premium pork supplier Cranswick, Robert Wiseman Dairies and Dechra Pharmaceuticals are to also join the FTSE 250.

YORKSHIRE-BASED GETECH, which specialises in mapping areas targeted for oil exploration by industry giants such as Shell, BP and ExxonMobil, today confirmed the acquisition of American company Lisle.
The company – based in Denver, Colorado – owns a substantial proprietary gravity database for the USA.
Getech – which was the first Leeds University spin-out firm to float on the Alternative Investment Market and has the world’s largest commercial library of gravity and magnetic exploration data – has supported the purchase with a placing of 1.53m ordinary shares at a price of 26p.
Derek Fairhead, a director of the company, acquired 96,154 ordinary shares in the placing and accordingly holds 8,940,282 ordinary shares, retaining a holding of 30.59% of the issued share capital of the company.
Peter Stephens, also a director of the company, acquired 76,923 ordinary shares in the placing and accordingly holds 932,923 ordinary shares representing 3.19% of the enlarged share capital.

TOUR operator Jet2holidays.com has said its service between Leeds Bradford International Airport and New York could be extended following its success.
Jet2holidays.com said all seats had sold out for the four separate trips that left between November and December.
