AMSTERDAM denim label Denham has opened a flagship store in the North of England, in the heart of the Briggate retail district in Leeds.

In front of Trinity Leeds, the 1,614 sq ft retail outlet spans two floors. Denham already has outlets in Berlin, Amsterdam, Sydney, Tokyo and Osaka.

Founder Jason Denham said: “As an Englishman, I’m proud to open our first flagship store in the North of England.
Leeds is the fastest growing city in the UK and we’re very confident that our brand will connect with the Leeds customer.”

MANUFACTURER Johnstone’s Paint has launched a £1m TV campaign, managed by Leeds agency Turn Key.

Johnstone’s first ever UK-wide TV advert ‘Here’s to the doers’ was created by Turn Key and Manchester-based production company The Gate with Simon Neal as director.

The £1m media spend will see the advert air on prime time TV.

Tim Wood, marketing manager at Johnstone’s Paint, said: “As we are celebrating 125 years in paint this year, it’s very apt that we have launched our first national TV campaign.

“We wanted to create a campaign to position Johnstone’s Paint in the consumer market, against big-name competitors, to show that while we’re best known for our trade offering, we’re strong in the consumer market also.”

HULL-BASED health and well being firm Monster Supplements, have launched a website to make sure customers have a simpler purchase process.

Removing its seven-page checkout and making it single page, and has also made sure it is mobile responsive.

Phillip Walker, marketing manager at Monster Supplements, said: “After almost two years of development, we are delighted to announce the launch of our brand new website. We have worked tirelessly to make sure our new site meets the needs and demands our customers.

“We have been busy returning to our roots of giving excellent service and advice by going through all 3,000 products we stock and writing in-depth descriptions for each one, to give visitors as much information as possible. This is in addition to improvements in the purchase process.”
