Appointments: INK Digital, Investec Wealth & Investment, Cooper & Hall

CREATIVE agency INK Digital has appointed Conrad Easton as its head of operations.

The Halifax-based firm, which also has offices in Melbourne, Australia created the position due to the increasing number of client wins and the opening of their first international office.

The team now has 18 staff in the UK and is on a recruitment drive in its Australian office to boost its numbers.

Owner and head of creative strategy at INK Digital Helen Darlington said: “Conrad is a huge part of our future plans and with our global expansion and increasingly busy UK studio, he brings a wealth of experience and skills to ensure smooth running of everything across both studios and all our clients.”

Darren Findlay of InvestecSHEFFIELD-BASED Investec Wealth & Investment has promoted associate Darren Findlay to financial planning director at its Sheffield offices.

Having spent nine years in the firm, based on Napier Street, his promotion will see him become responsible for regional and national clients on financial planning.

Tom Street, director in charge of the Sheffield office of Investec Wealth & Investment, said: “Darren’s promotion reflects his expertise and dedication to our financial planning department.

“Financial planning is a very important service we offer to clients, helping them to prepare for their retirement and safeguard their investments for the future.”

QUANTITY surveyors Cooper & Hall have added a member to its expanding Harrogate offices.

Trainee quantity surveyor Sam Whitehouse has been hired to the firm’s Harrogate offices, taking total staff numbers to 12.

Managing director Phil Cooper said: “In just a few years we have now more than doubled the size of Cooper & Hall and are working on projects all over the country.

“It is thanks to the UK economy’s strong position, and the boom in construction industry, that we have seen our workload increasing month on month, hence the recruitment need.

“I’m pleased that we are able to offer career opportunities to young people like Sam, and, once with us, they will receive both practical and theoretical experience.”
