Appointments: P+HS Architects, 3Squared, Landwood Group

LEEDS practice P+HS Architects are expanding with the appointment of three senior team members to their team.

Following from the company’s move to new, larger offices in Leeds city centre, senior architect Ben Hellawell has been appointed as an associate.

In the firm’s Stokesley office, Derek Shepherd has become an associate director , focusing on healthcare work, and Stephen Hatcher moves into the role of associate.

Managing director Joe Biggs commented “The directors are delighted to announce these new appointments which will strengthen the healthcare and residential teams whilst at the same time making provisions for the future resilience and success of the business.

FORMER managing director of Sheffield’s Technophobia, Emma Marshall, has joined software development company 3Squared as operations director.

She was part of the senior leadership team which tripled the size of Technophobia over a four year period and led the £6.4m acquisition by Capita in 2010.

Since the acquisition, she has since spent four years as managing director, with the company rebranding to G2G3 digital earlier this year.

James Fox, commercial director at 3Squared, said: “Emma is really well known in the tech industry both in Sheffield and further afield. We are embarking on an ambitious growth strategy and Emma will be spearheading this and helping us to achieve our business development aspirations in our specialist areas: construction and rail.”

Ms Marshall is the latest in a series of appointments at the company. In September, 3Squared reported that it had recruited ten new staff across the business. The company now employs over 40 people at its Sheffield office.

CHARTERED surveyors and auctioneers the Landwood Group have appointed Richard Parkin as business development director.

He joins Landwood Group from Cerberus Asset Management, and will be focusing on building business in Leeds, Yorkshire and the North East.

He will be based at Landwood’s Leeds office in Queen Street.

Richard Parkinson, director at the Landwood Group added; “We are delighted that someone of Richard’s calibre is joining us, bringing his sector experience and leadership to our business development activities. He shares our philosophy of focussing on the client at all times and is passionate about building a successful business from our Leeds base.”
