Regus adds West Yorkshire centre in response to increased demand

REGUS is to open its first centre in Wakefield, increasing its Yorkshire presence to more than 20 centres.
Its latest centre is scheduled to open next month in Trinity Walk, in Wakefield city centre.
Richard Morris, UK chief executive of Regus, said the new site would be a “further strengthening” of its presence in Yorkshire.
He said: “Regus’ investment in the city is testament to increasing local demand for flexible places to work that offer a productive environment for business people to touch down, meet, co-work or base a business.
“We expect strong take-up from local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in the local area.”
Research from Regus shows that 40% of UK workers spend at least 2.5 days per week working outside of their main office, while a third of UK employers are offering their staff more flexible working options.
It says demand for flexible workspace is growing steadily, as businesses aim to save money on lengthy leases and give employees greater freedom in where and when they work.
