DAC Beachcroft names new Leeds head

LAW firm DAC Beachcroft has announced that they have hired a regional senior partner for Leeds.
Michael Peeters has been promoted and will be taking over from predecessor Virginia Clegg, who became DAC Beachcroft’s senior partner at the beginning of November.
Mr Peeters joined the firm in 2011 from Pinsent Masons, and has spent 20 years in the Leeds commercial market.
He heads up DAC Beachcroft’s Northern technology law team, as an IT and telecoms specialist.
Mr Peeters said: “I feel privileged to be nominated as the next RSP for DAC Beachcroft in Leeds. Our people here do brilliant work and key to my role will be raising the profile of our business in this region to ensure the office gets the recognition it deserves in what remains a fast-evolving Yorkshire legal market. This will build on Virginia’s great work, including our move earlier this year to prestigious new offices at St Paul’s House.”
“I am also keen to see all our Northern offices thrive in the coming years and will make a point of working closely with my counterparts in Manchester and Newcastle to optimise our combined offerings.”
DAC Beachcroft senior partner, Virginia Clegg, said: “Michael will be an excellent ambassador for our firm in Leeds. With the support of the other local partners on key initiatives, I am entirely confident Michael will promote the firm and drive growth across the Northern regions.”
