Awards: Harrogate Spring Water, Ginetta, Gisborough Hall

ICONIC brand Harrogate Spring Water won big at the UK Packaging Awards, after their diamond glass bottle was dubbed ‘inspirational’ by judges.
The bottle was created at Ardagh Group’s Design Centre in Knottingley and produced in Ardagh’s factory in Doncaster for Yorkshire based Harrogate Water Brands.
“We are very proud of this collaborative effort. It demonstrates how a ten year business partnership can deliver world class packaging for a product that not only has a genuine wow factor, but also impressive environmental credentials with 50% recycled content,” said Stuart Santon, sales manager, Ardagh Glass, UK.
James Cain, managing director of Harrogate Water Brands, commented: “The diamond design has proved hugely successful. Taking its inspiration from Harrogate’s classic architecture, it creates a sparkling effect that engages the consumer and really helps the brand to stand out on both shelf and table. Without doubt it has played a major part in our recent success, and in gaining us a number of prestigious awards.”
Harrogate Water Brands own and manage Harrogate Spring Water and ethical water brand Thirsty Planet. They are the Official Water of England Cricket, Ascot and Royal Ascot.

Having just launched their new addition to their range at the Autosport show earlier this month, the G57, the award was the cherry on top of the cake for Ginetta.

It has been awarded Top Rated Hotel status by Laterooms.com’s Simply the Guest Awards 2016.
The four star hotel, on the outskirts of Guisborough in North Yorkshire, recently underwent a £400,000 makeover.
The 19th century hotel is home to two AA Rosette restaurant ‘Chaloner’s’, a Revival Zone spa, 71 bedrooms and ‘G’ Bar and Bistro, as well as a ballroom, conservatory and events’ spaces and its traditional drawing room and inner hall.
Kim Yardley, general manager of Gisborough Hall, said: “This accolade is a lovely start to 2016 for the team at Gisborough Hall. It’s even more of a boost as the awards are based purely on guest reviews- and our guests are our most crucial critics. We do try to constantly evolve and, as such, our programme of investment is continuing this year but it is also very important that we remain true to our past with all of our much loved traditional features.
“Awards such as this give guests real peace of mind when choosing a hotel and what’s very encouraging to see is the mix of excellent reviews from both leisure and business guests. In addition, we also seem to be attracting more guests from not just the North of England but further afield too, including America and Japan which is brilliant for our wonderful region.”
