WEST Yorkshire Police has begun an investigation linked to the closure of a 200-year-old law firm in West Yorkshire.
Dixon Coles & Gill, a private client and family law firm which had offices in Wakefield and Horbury, closed on January 29.
However West Yorkshire police have confirmed that a 66-year-old woman has been arrested and bailed in connection with a fraud investigation that is ongoing.
The firm had three partners – including Julian Gill, who was the third generation of his family to be a partner in the firm – and four solicitors.
The firm dates its origins back to the 18th century.
