Manufacturer wins £1.3m US contract
MANUFACTURER Filtronic has won a £1.3m ($1.9m) contract with a US firm to supply a “major” US multinational.
Filtronic, which designs microwave electronics, is based in Yeadon.
The order means Filtronic will be developing core elements within long range, E-Band communication systems.
Last December 2015 only half of the company’s £1m proposed share placing was taken up.

“It is a terrific endorsement of our engineering capability and underscores our position as the leading player in the E-Band transceiver market.”
