Software business in good health as it strengthens partnerships
SHEFFIELD-BASED technology and software group Servelec has claimed a “number of important project wins” for its health and social care division.
The contracts are expected to boost revenues in the first half of this year and help embed Servelec as a supplier of choice to UK and Irish health services.
“This is a positive start to the year for Servelec Health and Social Care across the UK and Ireland,” said chief executive Alan Stubbs.
“Building on the strong performance of the business in 2015 these projects demonstrate the breadth and strength of both our product portfolio and market position as a trusted supplier to the NHS and the Irish Health Service Executive.”
It will implement its patient administration system for acute care, Oceano, in three hospitals and 13 minor injury units. It is important to the company because it results from the successful integration of Aura Healthcare during 2015 and shows its converged care approach is “gaining traction”. Aura’s patient flow management tool, Flow, will also be used by St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin.
Servelec’s electronic patient record software, RiO, will be delivered across Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust and its rules-based clinical decision support software system, PICS, will be used by the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust in Birmingham.
Continuing Servelec’s progress in Scotland, Servelec Corelogic has been appointed by Dundee City Council to deliver its Mosaic product across its adult, children, criminal justice and finance departments.
