Food manufacturer moves HQ and develops factory after creating 20 jobs

FRESH soup manufacturer The Yorkshire Provender have moved premises, creating more jobs for the area.

The factory includes increased capacity, streamlined production and product development facilities.

The acquisition of the new premises was facilitated by a loan from NatWest.

The business had outgrown their adjacent leasehold premises, and in 2015 purchased and developed another site, creating 20 jobs. This is their second investment in expansion.

The company is based in Leeming Bar. It was founded in 2007 by entrepreneurs Belinda and Terry Williams.

The Yorkshire Provender’s range of soups and sauces are listed in Waitrose, Ocado, Booths, Tesco, Co Op, Costco and Nisa. They have also provided product ranges for Pret-a-Manger, and own The Yorkshire Party Co.
