Law firm merger adds to specialist division

COMMERCIAL firm Excello Law has merged with a specialist employment law business.

Excello has offices in London, Liverpool and Leeds. The addition of Abel Brown will add to its employment law credentials as well as expanding its current geographical reach.

Abel Brown, based in Rutland, is headed by Louise Brown who set up the practice in 2000.

The Abel Brown team, including Anthony Robinson, Charlotte Cecil, Navraj Rai and Vanessa Wheeler will join the business.

Louise Brown commented: “The merger of my firm with Excello Law will bring immeasurable benefits to the team. It is very exciting for us to be part of a firm with such a great reputation and it will enable us all to focus on our service to clients and attract new business. I shall continue to be based in Seaton working with local businesses.”

Excello also has a base in Sweden. It opened up its Leeds office in 2015 as its virtual law firm model evolved. The office is led by corporate and commercial solicitor Andrew Hoyle, who formerly held senior positions at Ward Hadaway and Watson Burton.
