Appointments: Blacks; Filtronic; Bark&Bite
COMMERCIAL property partner Ian Errington has joined Blacks Solicitors.
Mr Errington brings more than 25 years experience in the industry, including being a partner at Gordons for 15 years.
He said: “I’ve been lucky enough to work closely with big brands such as Morrisons in the past and have recently moved on to more residential and commercial properties, so I’m very eager to put this experience into practice at Blacks.”
Head of commercial property at Blacks Solicitors, Nick Dyson, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming Ian to our growing team. His knowledge, experience and client focused approach will help provide great support to our investor and developer clients in particular.”

TELECOMS manufacturer Filtronic has appointed Michael Tyerman as finance director.
Mr Tyerman joined the group as financial controller of the Broadband business in 2007 and was promoted to the position of group financial controller in 2009.
He has been interim head of finance for the Filtronic since July 2015.

CREATIVE studio Bark&Bite has made a senior hire as the company expands its operations in Leeds and Manchester.
Belinda Allen takes the role as head of production and will be responsible for leading production on all TV commercials and content over both locations.
Ms Allen has over 25 years of industry experience working across digital, broadcast and cinema.
She joins from The Story Lab where she was project director, bringing four years of executive producer experience. Previous clients include Renault, M&S, Debenhams, British Airways, Samsung, House of Fraser, British Gas, Microsoft and Diageo.
