Distribution business creates jobs with Hull expansion

MECHANICS supplier Brammer has expanded its Hull presence, creating eight jobs in the process.

The Hull-based business is moving from its 1,495 sq ft site on Northumberland Avenue to a 4,200 sq ft office on Witty Street.

Brammer has been based in Hull since 1983 supplying products from manufacturers SKF, Siemens and SMC, as well as Roebuck and Q-Safe.

Ailsa Webb, UK Group operations director at Brammer, commented: “With a move to far bigger, more modern premises, we will be able to provide enhanced support for our local customers and contracts, centred around a greater stock holding capability and the extended range offered through Brammer.

“Our new convenient location will also support regional customer growth, and ensure customers both old and new can access the products they require.”

This follows Brammer’s initiation into the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce, for which they are becoming official patrons.
