£19m residential development set for Leeds derelict site

STUDENT accommodation provider IconInc are set to develop its latest site, a £19m residential scheme on Cardigan Road.

Dubbed The Glassworks, the site is set to be completed by September 2017, and will feature 154 apartments.

The Glassworks site has been derelict for 15 years will also provide 10 jobs.

Parklane Group helped IconInc launch “Britain’s most luxurious student digs” at The Edge in Leeds in September 2015.

Its latest development features 6 storeys with king beds, flat screen TVs, and optional extras for students including professional cleaning, fresh fruit delivery, and Egyptian cotton towels.

There will also be an on-site gym with personal trainers, a cinema room, a games zone, complimentary daily breakfast, study rooms, self-service pantry and 24hr concierge.
