Dutch-owned parking giant relocates to Leeds

A DIVISION of Dutch parking giant Q-Park is moving to Leeds, creating 15 jobs with even more in the pipeline.

Q-Park is moving its customer experience and support division to Leeds to support its 15m UK customers from Maastricht, where its head offices are also based.

It will offer 24-hour support within Q-Park facilities, and be used as a springboard to expand the brand in the UK and Ireland.

Adam Bidder, managing director of Q-Park UK & Ireland commented “This was a great opportunity to improve the customer experience in the region but also to help support the local economy.

“Q-Park closed the 2015 financial year with very good results with revenue improvement of 5.2% and we want to continue to grow our business. In order to do meet our ambitions of growth we needed to ensure that we had a customer support platform to meet our increasing demands and ensure we deliver the Quality in parking goal.”

Q-Park has 5,800 facilities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
