Appointments: Keyland hires development surveyor; Insurance broker’s growth continues; and more

KEYLAND DEVELOPMENTS, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water, has appointed Cameron Sanderson as graduate development surveyor based at the company’s Leeds office at The Embankment.
Mr Sanderson holds a Real Estate (BSC Hons) degree from Northumbria University and joins Keyland from intern positions within Knight Frank and JLL’s London offices, prior to which he was an undergraduate commercial surveyor at Rock Regeneration.
Keyland has been operating across Yorkshire for over 20 years, regenerating Yorkshire Water’s redundant sites.
At Keyland, Mr Sanderson will be assisting the team in the management of its extensive portfolio of sites in addition to identifying potential acquisitions from within the group, supporting the planning application process and working with consultants to progress the marketing and disposal of sites.

INSURANCE broker McClarrons has expanded its team, welcoming Daniel Subritzky as an account executive in the commercial department.
Mr Subritzky will operate from McClarrons’ Malton office.
Director Sean McClarron said: “We are very excited to have Daniel joining the team. The company is continuing to grow, and to help us maintain our level of service and our ability to give our clients the time and attention they deserve, it is important that we have the right people on board. Not only this, it is vital to ensure that we have a team with the right experience behind them so that we can offer our clients the best advice possible.”
McClarrons’ continuing growth plans have seen the company take on six members in the last six months.

SPECIALIST logistics management company Bedfords Group has appointed Lee Nichols as managing director.
Mr Nichols succeeds Steff Pfadenhauer with immediate effect following a company restructure.
Mr Pfadenhauer remains as CEO and member of the board of directors and will take an active consultancy role on a part time basis.
Leeds-based Bedfords Group is privately owned and has operating centres in Birstall and Milton Keynes.
Bedfords Group owns a number of other business including RPL Logistics, a warehousing and distribution company, and LinQ Alliance, a group of logistics specialists which develops specialist logistics solutions. Bedfords was also a founding member of Pallet Force which offers UK and European pallet distribution services.
Mr Nichols began working with Bedfords in 2011 as purchasing consultant. He appointed business improvement director in February 2014.
He was also a former procurement director at the Polestar Group, HJ Heinz and Grattan Mail Order (Otto Versand).
