Trio of legal teams complete £130m of deals in one week

IN the space of a week, three teams at law firm Bond Dickinson have advised on deals worth £130m.

The trifecta of transactions included a merger, an MBO and an acquisition.

A team led by Alistair Scott-Somers advised on the management buyout of £55m-turnover Exemplar Healthcare , backed by Agilitas, a pan-European mid-market equity firm.

Nigel Williams led a team which advised the owners of Scientific Laboratory Supplies Ltd, distributors of laboratory products on its merger with French-based Dominique Dutscher. The deal created a €180m revenue business.

Thirdly, Simon Pilling and his team advised private equity firm Cairngorm Capital on its majority investment in the Polyframe Group in support of an MBO .
