Major investment opens the door for 100 jobs

A MAJOR investment by Express Bi-folding Doors in a new showroom and manufacturing facility is creating 100 jobs in the region.

Express has invested £3.5m in 130,000 sq ft of space which includes a 27,000 sq ft showroom near the White Rose Shopping Centre.

£2m of the investment was spent on the showroom which is set to open to the public on 17 September.

Two years in the making, the facility is the largest of its kind in Europe according to Express.

Steve Bromberg of Express said: “The glazing market is growing at such a rapid rate which means regular new customisable options. We wanted to create a destination for everybody, from homeowners and developers to architects and specifiers, to discover products in a familiar and realistic setting, with advice on hand whenever it’s needed regardless of project size.

“The whole team has worked exceptionally hard to get the showroom finished and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We can’t wait to officially open its doors.”
