Record half year for Chambers

EXCHANGE CHAMBERS have had a record first half, with turnover reaching £13.7m and further ambitions to expand.

Based on Oxford Row, the barristers are on target to exceed last year’s full year results of £25.7m.

Last week it announced that it would be expanding with a further 2,000 sq ft at its Leeds office to accommodate an expanding team.

It is aiming to have 200 barristers within the next three years, having already reached 161 members including 16 silks in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

“Chambers has performed strongly over the first half of the financial year with all departments playing their part,” said director of Chambers, Tom Handley. “We have a proven track record in all major areas of law.”
