Australian business growth programme comes to Yorkshire

AN acclaimed programme created in Melbourne which has helped thousands of businesses grow successfully has made its UK debut in Wetherby.

The Business Improvement Programme event (BIP) was originally created by Alec Blacklaw and specifically designed to help owner managed businesses get greater outcomes for their business.

Accountants and business advisers Armstrong Watson recognised the powerful delivery this 2-day programme could have on their own client base and helped introduce the BIP to its client base from across the region.

Keynote speaker talent from Australia, Singapore and the UK were lined up and each helped deliver the 9 key success strategies through case studies, film, storytelling and practical exercises.

Clients said: “The knowledge of the speakers made it all sound so simple and easy”, “The team were superb at putting people at ease outside the comfort zone, nurturing gently but firmly to produce a great vibe and results due to the excellent content.”

Armstrong Watson’s Business development director Dave Clarkson said: “We had seen how influential The BIP was in Australia and the difference it was making to entrepreneurial businesses out there, but we did not realise what an enormous impact this was going to have on all the delegates attending”. “Dave went on to say ‘Awesome’ and ‘Life Changing’ have been commonly used phrases in the testimonial feedback which is great to hear”

Speakers working alongside BIP Founder Alec Blacklaw to help businesses get to the next level of performance include Steve Cram CBE; Paul Dunn, who was one of the first ten people in Hewlett Packard in Australia and has spoken at the influential TEDx conferences four times; digital guru Simon McCaskill, social media marketer Adam Gray and Richard Rankin and Matt Osbourne, Business Advisors from Armstrong Watson.

The two day event ended with everyone taking practical action plans back to their respective businesses and many have already booked colleagues on to the next one in March 2017.
