Creative: Relocation for fast-growing digital marketing agency; Brawl has Christmas campaign wrapped up for department store; and more

YORK-based digital marketing agency Edge45 has secured a raft of new clients and is celebrating a year of growth with a move from Hiscox Business Club to a new, larger office in the centre of the city.

Edge45 was established by managing director Colin Docherty in April 2015 and has since enjoyed over ten times revenue growth and now employs three full time staff with plans to recruit another two people in the near future.

Edge45 moved into the Hiscox Business Club, a free office space hub for small businesses, in April 2016 and, having benefitted from the club’s support, the company has expanded rapidly. Having now outgrown the shared space available at Hiscox, the company has made the move to larger private office space within ACollective on Pavement, York.

Notable new clients for the company are York-based Damson Audio, Bytemark, a large cloud hosting company, and Langleys Solicitors.

Mr Docherty said: “Thanks to the leg up we were given by Hiscox and the support of the wider York business community we have been able to secure some great clients. My vision for Edge45 has always been to offer a complete online marketing service to our clients – SEO just isn’t a stand-alone service anymore – and as our team continues to grow and develop, so does our depth and range of expertise meaning that the value we can offer our clients is ever increasing. Digital marketing is such a valuable tool to businesses and it’s our aim to help them to take full advantage of the opportunities.”

Bolser Dan Frank, Ashley Bolser, Richard AndrewsDIGITAL agency Bolser has announced a series of senior hires.

The Leeds-based agency has welcomed Richard Andrews to lead the team as head of SEO and ASO.

Mr Andrews is an SEO and ASO specialist with a proven track record of ranking thousands of local and national keywords across a range of highly competitive verticals. Richard has experience working both client side and agency side, managing multiple accounts and reporting on performance ROI to directors, shareholders and investors.

Joining Mr Andrews on the new team is Dan Frank, as technical SEO/ASO manager moving across from Search Laboratory. With four years of technical SEO specialist experience he has worked across a number of high end brands including ASOS, Boohoo and PepsiCo.

Tom Rhodes has been recruited as content manager, working across Leeds and London with Bolser clients on strategic planning and delivery of omni-channel content and social-driven campaigns.

Laura Van Wymersch from Leeds completes the new hires, taking the role of outreach manager, bringing experience from working on outreach and PR with brands such as Superdry, VistaPrint, PokerStars and P&O Ferries.

Ashley Bolser, M.D, who founded the agency in 2001, said: “These additional hires now means that nothing is outsourced, which means accountability and traceability every step of the way on everything that we deliver to our clients.

He added: “Bolser has a particular specialism in app development and the new ASO service enables us to guide a brand through the online marketing cycle required to make an app a success, in a bid to decrease the number of independent apps that end up in the graveyard unused and unloved after thousands have been spent on their development. It’s crucial to collaborate across ASO; SEO; Google Adwords; Display Network; Remarketing; Social Media and Affiliate campaigns to really give an app a chance.”
