New chief executive for Hunters

A NEW chief executive has been appointed at York-based Hunters.

The national sales and lettings agency has hired Glynis Frew. Ms Frew has been with the business for 17 years and has been managing director of the business since 2015.

She previously worked at United Biscuits and PepsiCo.

Ms Frew replaces Harry Hill who oversaw the company’s IPO in 2015. The former Countrywide chief executive also founded Rightmove.

He will become non-executive deputy chairman at Hunters.

Chairman Kevin Hollinrake, who founded the company 23 years ago, said: “The Board would like to thank Harry for his contribution and are delighted that he has accepted the post to continue his involvement working with us.”
