Care home operator to create 20 jobs at new site
LEEDS-based care home operator Horizon Healthcare Homes has started work on the development of a new facility in Bradford which will create 20 local jobs.
Funding to support the seven-figure scheme in Allerton has been provided by the Royal Bank of Scotland with an undisclosed package.
Located on the Bell Dean Road in Allerton, the new home will be called Windsor Court and resides on the former Bell Dean public house site.
Windsor Court is a purpose built, new residential eight-bed home offering care for adults with learning difficulties who may also have a physical disability or sensory impairment. It aims to follow on from the success of Beckside Lodge and will be open to residents in June 2017.
The Windsor Court purpose built facility is the sixth care home owned by Horizon Healthcare Homes. The organisation has three existing premises in Huddersfield – Langley Lodge, Hampton House and Ferndale Lodge; and another called Cranmer Court in Leeds and Beckside Lodge in Bradford.

The Royal Bank of Scotland provided funding to help the development of Beckside Lodge three years ago and we are delighted that they have continued to demonstrate their confidence in our business and structured loan facilities to assist our most recent new build.
