Advice for SMEs on raising finance on PLUS stock market
A SEMINAR advising business leaders on raising finance on the PLUS market is to be hosted by law firm Irwin Mitchell.
The event will explain the benefits of floating on the PLUS market, which is typically used by SMEs looking to raise up to £5m in equity finance, together with the process and expertise required for application and entry.
The seminar on February 4 at Irwin Mitchell’s Riverside East offices in Sheffield will start at 8.30am to 10.30am. A light breakfast will be served from 8am.
Speakers will include John Holland, senior consultant with flotation consultants Holland Bendelow, a former head of the London Stock Exchange’s UK regional operation and Paul Haddock, head of capital markets at PLUS Markets Group.
James Bullock, a partner in the corporate team at Irwin Mitchell said that at a time when finance from banks and other traditional lenders was increasingly hard to come by, understanding what alternatives PLUS could offer was an opportunity not to be missed.
