Expansion at Deloitte

BUSINESS advisory firm Deloitte has added two new partners and a director to its Leeds financial services practice.

Corporate tax specialist Sue Holmes has been promoted to partner and leads the financial services tax practice in the North.

Kate Hayes has been promoted to director and Andy Todd, an insurance sector tax specialist, is now working out of the firm’s Leeds office.

David Heaton is being promoted to partner in Manchester to lead Deloitte’s northern insurance practice.

Ms Holmes said: “With a 100 strong team of tax specialists in Leeds alone, Deloitte has established itself as one of the leading players not only in Yorkshire, but in the North of England.

“Our financial services tax practice has grown significantly over the past two years and we have been involved in advising on a number of high profile transactions both within the region and nationally. 

“Demand for our corporate tax advisory services continues to grow and we are focussed on expanding our team further to ensure we have the best possible level of tax expertise available to support our clients.”
