Business Living in £1m property deal

INTERNATIONAL electronic security business Secom has acquired the biggest office unit at a £5m Yorkshire scheme.
Secom has moved into a 6,100 sq ft unit at the Business Living scheme in Millshaw, Leeds, which has been acquired for more than £1m in a deal brokered by property consultants King Sturge.
Business Living is a subsidiary of Leeds-based Evans Property Group.
The speculative Leeds Business Living scheme offers offices which cater for businesses which want to own their premises.
They are also aimed at commercial property investors.
Lucy Philips, Business Living sales assistant, said: “Although the commercial property market is slower, this deal demonstrates that there are still rewarding opportunities for high-specification units in good locations which is why we have always had confidence in the Millshaw development.”
The Millshaw Business Living scheme, near the White Rose Shopping Centre, comprises seven self-contained, two–storey units which range from 1,300 sq ft to 6,100 sq ft and can be leased on flexible terms.
Other occupiers at the site include civil and structural engineers, Mason Clark Associates and mortgage packager, The Mortgage Trading Company.
