Principles chosen as bras and knickers favourite

LEEDS-based marketing agency Principles has won the pitch to create a TV advertising campaign for the premium lingerie brand ‘Simply Yours’.
The new glitzy advert will launch the Spring Summer 2009 catalogue for the JD Williams brand.
Helen North, account director at Principles, said: “The Simply Yours advert draws on the theatrical roots of burlesque; luscious velvets mixed with glitter and sparkling lights.
“We have created moments of real beauty, with direct relevance to the Simply Yours woman.”
She added: “We aim to generate interest for the new Spring/Summer catalogue and enquiries through the website while pushing the brand characteristics in a new direction.”
Natalie Grogan, marketing recruitment manager at JD Williams, said that the two companies had a long-standing relationship.
