Redmayne-Bentley opens Cork office

YORKSHIRE’S oldest and largest independent stockbroking and investment management firm Redmayne-Bentley is to expand its branch network to Ireland with an office in Cork.
The firm has more than 30 offices in the UK but this is the first branch it has opened outside of the UK.
Commenting on the announcement, Keith Loudon, senior partner at Leeds-based Redmayne-Bentley, said “Our new team of stockbrokers has 30 years combined experience in stockbroking – we are delighted to welcome them on board to represent the firm in Ireland and to further strengthen our position as both a leading and regional stockbroker.
“The initiative reflects the international ambitions of the business, and at a time of global recession when many firms are making redundancies our expansion to Ireland has enabled us to stabilise jobs at our head office in Leeds”.
The new team in Cork will be led by Patrick Sexton and Padraig O’Riordan – both of whom have spent the majority of their careers working in Cork and throughout Munster.
