Knight Frank boosts residential land team
PROPERTY consultancy Knight Frank has appointed a new head to lead its Leeds-based residential land development team.
Tearle Phelan joined the team from the firm’s Sheffield office, where he has worked since 2000, being made a partner in 2007.
Mr Phelan will be responsible for leading the Leeds team and encouraging development deals for the region.
He said: “The dramatic fall in the price of land does present opportunities and I am currently talking to a number of landowners and developers in Yorkshire who are keen to do deals.
“I think a couple of strong Yorkshire deals will restore confidence in the market and confidence is a vital commodity at the moment.
“I am now up and running in Leeds, with a strong team alongside me, and am ready to talk to developers in the region who are looking to buy and sell.”
