Former Netto MD to join Morrisons

RICHARD Lancaster, the former managing director of Netto UK, is to join Morrisons as senior trading director.

The appointment, which was brokered by Leeds-based boutique executive search firm MHA Partners, is the first of a series of multiple senior staff hires at the supermarket.

Mark Bradshaw, commercial director at MHA Partners, said: “We are delighted to have made such a senior placement in the business.

“This has put us in a very strong position to further build and develop our relationship with Morrisons. Over the next three months we are confident that we will provide further key hires into the trading team.”
