New property team at Lupton Fawcett

LAW firm Lupton Fawcett has launched a specialist property litigation team.

Headed by director Ian Coupland, the Leeds-based team also includes senior associate James Naylor and senior solicitor Hayden Glynn.

The team is experienced in aspects of commercial and residential property litigation work and all three are members of the Property Litigation Association.

Mr Coupland has experience working with property clients and has previously worked in London and in other major Leeds firms.

Mr Naylor has also held roles with commercial law firms in London and has acted in a number of high profile disputes whilst Mr Glynn is a specialist in residential property disputes and has experience in this area.

Mr Coupland said: “There is no doubt that in the current economic climate many landlords face going to Court more often to protect their interests.

“For example, more tenants are defaulting and there are more disputes over issues such as dilapidations.”
