Ian Parsons

Ian qualified as an auditor at Deloitte and then moved into corporate finance advising clients on acquisitions, management buyouts and finance raising in addition to due diligence reporting. Following decades at the top-tier practice, Ian established Parsons, Chartered Accountants in 2009. 

Ian has grown the audit department to act as a Responsible Individual for over 40 clients which includes large multinationals and the largest community interest company in the country. 

Ian has over 15 years’ experience in corporate finance activity, advising businesses on acquisitions, management buy-outs and finance raising. He has supported clients to complete transactions, scale businesses and prepare management for exit. 

Parsons began by offering advisory services and the company has continue to grow over the past 16 years, with the Wakefield office opening in 2011 and York in 2021.
