Sandy Domingos-Shipley
The Systems Link was founded by Sandy Domingos-Shipley, a qualified ISO auditor, CQI Chartered Quality Professional, and author of How to Build a World Class Business One Brick at a Time (2024).
Sandy is not a “tick-box” ISO consultant. Originally from Canada and now based in Leeds, she brings a practical, people-first approach that helps organisations build management systems that actually work in real life.
Alongside consulting, Sandy actively contributes to the quality and ISO community. She writes for Quality World magazine, appears as a podcast guest, and delivers tailored training throughout the year. Her sessions support teams across the UK and Europe to rethink quality for the modern workplace and turn ISO into a tool that enables better decisions, stronger delivery, and consistent results.
Sandy is dyslexic and has combined ADHD, which shapes how she works in a positive way. She’s naturally good at spotting patterns, simplifying complexity, and solving problems creatively. She uses storytelling, clear analogies, and visual tools to engage people at every level, so ISO becomes something teams understand, buy into, and keep using.
Her style is collaborative and grounded. She works with businesses rather than forcing change on them, shaping systems to fit the organisation’s culture, people, and goals, not the other way around.
Outside of work, Sandy is a proud Canadian, a sports fanatic, and a coffee-and-donut lover (even if her doctor would prefer she cut back).
